Registration for our Winter/Spring 2025 Semester is open now. All classes are listed below. Please note that classes have a maximum number of students permitted, so please don’t wait to register. In addition, classes that don’t meet the minimum requirement will be cancelled. You may be offered to move into a different section, or offered a refund.
“The Wizard of Oz“
Ballet Wooster will present “The Wizard of Oz” and other dances on April 26th and 27th. Students enrolled in Pre Ballet 1 or higher are invited to participate Participation is optional and separate registration is required. Students in Pre Ballet 1 and 2, Elementary 1- 5 must pay a performance fee of $65. Company students in Intermediate 1 – 2 and Advanced 1-2 pay a performance fee of $90. These fees are charged to help offset the many costs of the production. All fees are non-refundable and must be paid in full by February 1st in order to participate.
Performance information:
For dancers in Pre Ballet 1 -2 and Elementary 1 – 5, all rehearsals will take place during weekly class time. Excessive absence from classes may result in dismissal from the performance. Please note that there will be additional mandatory rehearsals on the Saturday before the performance, as well as Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday night of tech week. Please submit any expected absences prior to the start of the semester, or as soon as they arise. Any illnesses or family emergencies that result in a missed class or rehearsal must be submitted immediately via email to info@balletwooster.org. All dancers will receive a performance agreement in January that must be signed and returned by February 1st in order to participate.
For dancers in Company (Intermediate 1-2, Advanced 1-2), rehearsals will begin on November 2nd, 2024. All classes and rehearsals are mandatory. Rehearsals may be scheduled on Monday-Thursday evenings as late as 9p and on Saturdays between the hours of 12:00 – 5:30p. Missing more than one rehearsal may result in recasting or dismissal from the performance. All expected absences must be submitted prior to the start of the semester. If a conflict arises after the semester starts, it must be submitted 2 weeks in advance.
